Vault drop rates

These are the odds the server draws with. Not a summary and not a rounded version — this page reads the same record the draw does.

One free opening a day, so openings and days are the same number. The third figure is an average, not a schedule.

The guarantee

After 30 openings without an Epic or better, the next one is guaranteed to be at least Epic. That is why the second figure on each card is higher than the first — the guarantee accounts for 4% of all Epic-or-better drops. It is a floor and not a ceiling: a Legendary or Mythic on that opening stays what it rolled.

The odds themselves never change as you go. There is no hidden escalation — the guarantee simply arrives, all at once, at 30.

How a draw works

  1. ServerA number is generated cryptographically. Your browser never chooses one.
  2. RarityThe number is read off the table above.
  3. RewardOne is picked from that rarity, by weight.
  4. YoursAdded to your collection — or, if you already own it, converted to tokens.

The number that was rolled and the version of these odds it was rolled against are both stored with the opening, so any drop can be checked afterwards.

Nothing here costs money

There is nothing to buy, no subscription, and no way to pay for an opening. Everything the Vault gives out is cosmetic, works only on Check WoW, and cannot be traded or sold. It has no connection to your World of Warcraft account beyond signing in.
